Halifax County Restaurant Week showcases the best of best by local chefs. Last year's inaugural restaurant week was an overwhelming success for both restaurants and diners. In 2016, eight participating restaurants prepared special menus for the eight-day culinary celebration. Breakfast and lunch menus were offered for $10 and dinner menus for $20 or $30, which included an appetizer, entree, and dessert. We are bringing it back for 2017 during the week of September 10-16. Participating restaurants will be announced at a later date. We will continue to feature locally-sourced ingredients on the menus and new for this year is a farm-to-table dinner. Details forthcoming. This event is for visitors AND locals, who like great food, want to try something new, and like a great deal that soothes the wallet.
