4th Annual Run for the Roses Fundraising Event

This Derby-inspired celebration of the one hundred fifty-second Kentucky Derby will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at The Prizery in South Boston, Virginia. This year’s event is especially meaningful as Good Hope proudly commemorates its twenty-sixth anniversary. For more than a quarter century, our organization has remained dedicated to empowering individuals and families through equine-assisted therapeutic activities while advancing environmental stewardship through regenerative agriculture. What began as a small mission rooted in compassion has grown into a lasting commitment to healing, education, and community well-being—made possible in large part by loyal supporters like you.
Run for the Roses has become a beloved community tradition, offering an elegant and engaging afternoon inspired by the Kentucky Derby. Guests will enjoy live coverage of pre-race events and the Kentucky Derby on jumbo screens, raffle opportunities featuring thoughtfully curated themed baskets, and a silent auction showcasing luxury travel, fine jewelry, original art, and other unique items. The event will also feature live music by Matt Boswell, a carefully prepared Derby-inspired menu, and warm Southern hospitality.
